I’m SO delighted to announce that The World Between the Rain has been nominated for the Carnegies, the UK's oldest and most prestigious book award for children's writing.
THE WORLD BETWEEN THE RAIN is on the list for the Carnegie Medal for Writing, which is awarded to a book written in English for children and young people that sparks an outstanding reading experience. This nomination is really special as it’s nominated and judged entirely by librarians. Libraries have always been such important places to me so it’s wonderful for the book to be recognised in this way by librarians. And to be included among so many brilliant authors and books - including three of us from Cork!
